We cordially invite you to a series of Lunch & Learns to introduce psychoanalytic concepts to community practitioners, researchers, social workers and those in all helping professions. “Psychoanalysis” goes far beyond Freud, and has been a valuable and important part of social work since the beginning! Join our discussions this year to learn something new and meet others with similar interests - all while enjoying a free light lunch!

Our second session will feature:

From Childhood to Adult Attachment
Tuesday, June 20
11:30am-1:00pm; 1.5 CEUs

This session will explore the basics of attachment through a psychoanalytic lens. We will focus on the impact of child attachment on adult attachment, including how it influences adult romantic relationships.

Important Parking Instructions:
This is a University of Texas building, so you must obtain a parking pass from our office or you will get ticketed! Once you arrive, park in a surface spot and then come into the building and go to room 1.204A. This is on the first floor, right inside the North Entrance. You will see "Texas Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing" on the door. You will get your parking pass from Shannon in room 1.204A and then place it in your car. You will then proceed to the training room on the 3rd floor.
